It All Started With an Idea:
From his humble college apartment at St Cloud State University, Mark developed the idea of a small student tour company offering great value vacations to desirable destinations at competitive prices. It worked! This small company went on to become apart of the largest student travel company in the United States, StudentCity.com, a division of First Choice Holidays, PLC and now TUI Travel, PLC. Mark developed the business for 8 incredible years, pioneering student travel before merging. He then became one of three Owners and Vice Presidents of the company.
After his 10 year tenure at Studentcity.com, Mark yearned to reintroduce Value Priced Vacations to a new market in the Midwest – Students, active adults, Single, Families and Groups. Mark believed from his former success that there was a need for Quality Vacations at affordable prices. VP Vacations was created to fulfill that niche, built on the same winning formula as before:
